    In my part of the country, this star topper is called "New Orleans Puzzle".

    I just made one of these table toppers too! I don't have mine bound yet. I love the pattern and your color choices are awesome. Great job!

    I have another similar pattern called "Swirling Stars Card Trick Table Topper". It amazes me at how many different names there are for the same block or pattern. The beauty of these forums is that you get to see many different quilts, but also to see the different cultures (US and other countries) influence on our craft.

    Thank You. I made that quilt for my Granddaughter and she loved it. It is the only bargello I've ever made. They are really time consuming.
