    Thanks everyone for such wonderful compliments. My grandmother always had her hands busy on something inside or out. This quilt top just seemed to bring the two together as a wonderful memory of her. She started it and two generations later it's finished. Now I'll have to figure out which of my two daughters will eventually get it!

    Do you know when she made the quilt? The quilt in my avatar has the same green. It was made be a lady's great grandmother and she died in 1947. Your's is lovely! You both did a wonderful job!

    Your quilt is so cute ) love the colors...I tried hand quilting a table runner and by the time I got to the end of it my hand quilting was coming undone..../ really think people are awesome that can do it...I just call the quilter now and let someone else do it lolol )
