Yes, don't use canned air to clean your machine. It just blows every thing back where you can't get it out. A while back, someone here on QB posted some pictures of the bottom inside of a machine that had been "cleaned" with canned air and it was a solid mess of gunk!

    Sylviak,

you should be able to find a regular mechanic's "stubby screwdriver" at any store which handles automotive tools or others. I usually end up borrowing my son's tool if I need to get that screw out! I'm a great one for advice, I need to get one for my tool box!

I would love 2 sets of these but alas, we do not have a harbor freight near by. Oh well.

They have some neat useful stuff there, I wonder through the store when I go with my husband just looking for anything that I might use sewing or other wise.

I use cleaned mascasra brushes, too. One is straight and thin and the other fuller and curved. The two I have are soft, no exposed metal on the ends. I didn't care much for the brush that came with my Janome, these work much better for me and also on my Innova longarm. I will be looking for the stubby rachet screwdriver set, sounds really useful.

And I have a mascara which is getting dry and used up. Now I know not to throw away the brush when it's finished! Wish I kept the last one....
