Default Simple 9 patch scrappy--much better than I thought it would be

I finished this one last week--made the top mostly in 2011--have a pile of tops to finish. Since this is my 5th FMQ, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Just did a meandering stitch of some kind--but I'm pleased with it.

It's such a simple pattern--design is really nonexistent--just another effort to use up my huge piles of scraps. I used my 2.5" strips for this one.

Great scrap buster! Bet you significantly reduced your scrap pile with this!

I love these kind of quilts. Did you "meander" over the whole thing? I have a scrappy finished but don't know what I want to do "quilting wise". I sew on my old Singer I bought in 1978.

I like a simple meander. I like your scrappy quilt. It makes me want to get closer to it and examine all of those beautiful fabrics in detail! Great job.

I love 9 patch....it is such a classic design the multi fabrics/colors are wonderful. The fabric for the borders is perfect and sets the tone for the whole quilt. Love it!♥
