    what is quilt patis? I think it is amazing that anyone can sew these smaller pieces and have them look so good. This is a wonderful project. I think it will look so good when you are done. It looks good now.

    I love what you are doing!! I think there is a lot of satisfaction in hand work and projects that seem slow going. Our grandmothers would have thought nothing of time-consuming projects like this one. We buy up gorgeous fabrics so fast and can't find the time to make them into machine sewn simple quilts!! I have a quilting frame and love to hand quilt, but I keep feeling like it's gonna take so long to complete, but why does it matter? It's my hobby and what I love! Enjoy piecing your blocks together and you'll love it when it is completed.

    It looks wonderful so far! Better you than me - I just can't seem to work with such small pieces unless it is paper pieced! LOL
