    Nice! You can always add a darker border that you can quilt snowflakes on it in white.

    I made a table runner with applique snowflakes on the top. Check out the last pattern shown on this page: http://www.etsy.com/shop/theheartandhomeco There are three different size snowflakes used.

    Very pretty and great job. I am not good with a lot of small pieces and your quilt looks like something I would like to do. Thanks for sharing.

    another idea would be to find a stash of antique (or even new) white doilies and strew them across it---maybe even add a few sparkles with "jewels"...

    www.fatcatpatterns.com she does awesome patterns and I think there was a snowflake! Most of her stuff is free at the start
