It IS super cute and I think the black and white add so much. Has a little bit of a Mary Engelbreit feel.

The bright colors and checkerboard will be great for the baby's eyes and imagination. Good job!

Babies see black and white when they are firstborn. So it will be as much eye candy for them as it is to me. I love it. The black and white makes it pop. Othetwise it would be not as stunning.

That baby will love all the colors and pop in the quilt. You deserve to gift it with a smile!

Another thought! Is used to be the thing to do to have all baby stuff very light pastel and w/o things that might distract them from......??? growing, sleeping, ???? But now the "in" thing is brightness and fun with all sorts of things to be "discovered" and even played with/fantasize about. Perhaps someone who doesn't "like" the quilt is thinking as we all did in yesteryear.
