    I made one of these, a controlled scrappy with Thimbleberries fabrics. Had it machine quilted gave to church for money raiser. I keep seeint and thinking I need to make one for me.

    Fantastic quilting and spectacular quilt.
    Your color palette is stunning, as well. Did you use one line of fabrics or did you select the colors?
    The reason I ask is that I have been stumped -- My niece has decorated her dorm in plum and gray, rather sophisticated, I must say. Seeing your quilt, I think these colors would look fabulous with her color scheme. Also, she is at Texas Tech so the stars pattern is perfect. Is "Monterrey Medallion" the name of the pattern?
