Krystyna I tought you said before that your sp pkg was all ready shipped and even gave us the del comf #. Oh, that is if you have a sp. Maybe you are making something for your next months sp, if you have one next month.

I Just looked it up and Swampfox's pkg is in Springfield Mass, which means it could be headed to Scarborough Maine and then downeast to me.

Dear SP, I spent a few hours on google researching the thing you wanted most. I am reasonably sure I got it right - and I surely hope so! - and ordered 4 different ones.

I was going to make you something awesome and then... and then my back up machine went and decided to throw some attitude around. It also threw the bobbin case (and then thing the bobbin case sits in) across the room narrowly missing my doggy. So, SP, I will probably not be able to sew you anything this time around as my primary machine is also STILL in the shop (a month later).

I wonder how I can compensate in the filling of this box...

Haha, yeah that Friday deadline came and went for me. I swear, this is the easiest semester academically - but then they front-load it with days off and weird schedules. Combine that with my 8 year old's days off and weird schedules and the first month of school is basically one big giant WTF AM I DOING TODAY!?!?! panic attack. Now, by next Monday I'm sure things will be right as rain again, but until we're back in a groove, I really just want to slam my head between the door and the door jamb. The whole sewing machine going tits-up didn't help one single bit.

Don't be silly. I can't save pancakes for a month! That is if I have an SP.

Funny story: My son talked me into buying a $7.99 box of pre-packed frozen mini-pancakes at Sams Club last month. "I will eat them for breakfast and they will be amazing." Know where all but 1 of those packages are sitting? In my freezer and taking up valuable space that could be filled with important things like cream puffs and cheesecakes and pumpkin pies.

Those stupid mini-pancakes taste gross, smell worse, and as proof: even my 8 year old son (a boy!) won't eat them.

Speaking of pancakes ... I don't know why I just thought of this, but back in the stone age when I was a girl, on Fridays no one in our neighborhood ate meat. One Friday I was invited to a friend's house for dinner and was excited to learn that they were having pancakes. Well, you can imagine my shock and disappointment when they served ... PANCAKES! Like breakfast pancakes! Good grief! What was that? Dinner pancakes in my house meant delicate crepes filled with fruit preserves and a delectable mixture made of ricotta cheese, eggs and sugar and topped with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a dollop of sour cream. THOSE were dinner pancakes. A month later I reciprocated the invitation. My poor friend was just as shocked ... but very happy. Her mother was not when she returned home to demand blinis.

Kelly, I'll be the dogs will like them!
