    Pppffft. That's just THAT website. You can get ironing boards at Target, Walmart and Sears, anywhere from $16 to $75. Of course, the fancier they are, the more expensive they are.

    There's usually an abundance of ironing boards at Thrift Stores.
    And at minimal prices!
    Just check that they sit solid and are at the height you want.

    Plus ... I would never have a narrow ended ironing board for quilting again.
    Too awkward when pressing yardage or quilt tops.

    A Thrift acquisition takes away the guilt of adding a piece of plywood to the top of an expensive new one to create the perfect quilter's pressing centre!

    We saw an ironing system in Shipshewana this year that cost $2600 US. It was kind of a steam thing & puffed the board cover up when you went to press your pieces. Needless to say... I didn't stick around for the full presentation!
