    They are both very pretty! Normally I would say dark, but in this case I really like the light.

    I like the light best, it seemed my mood changed when I scrolled down from the dark to light. It is soothing.

    Is every little bit of dust or cat hair going to be a problem? The black pops more but will show any bit of lint or whatever. The blue looks cosier. IMHO, the blue works better with the fabrics of your fans/plates.

    The dark is much more dramatic. I like drama in quilts, but not in life.
