Hi Gram Lehr - this is one of the groups of 10 in a Round Robin we're doing. Each group has 6 ppl who've all made a centre which then gets passed to each other group member in turn to add a border. After about a year we get our original centres back with borders added by 5 other quilty pals! Fun huh? Our progress will be posted here on the board as the quilts wing their way around the world. :D

Well, when do the folks who add the borders get a quilt?

If the person that mailed the center will eventually get a finished quilt, when do the folks that added the balance of the quilt get one? Do you rotate who sends out centers? Then the next time the people who were second on the list make the centers? I'm confused......

All six participants send out their own center to the next person on their list, so every time they mail one out, they get one to work on, 6 tops will be made from the same 6 people in their group, everyone will get on boarder on each of the other quilts. never the same border, All 6 quilts will be done at the same time.

There are 6 people in each group, and each person makes a center. ?for, instance, my center will be worked on by the other 5 in my group., And I will work on the other 5 centers in my group. Each of us will work on 5 centers, passing all of them around for the next year. There will be 5 borders added to each center. We work on every one else's except our own. We will always mail out to the same person. At the end of the year we will each get our own center back, which will have been worked on by the other 5 in our group. :D

It was so hard for me to watch the last ones. and not be in them, but this year finally came around, and now I am in 2 :D :D Group 3 and 8.
It is fun to still follow , even when we aren't in them. Hope you enjoy watching all the tops come together over the next year.
