​Really nice case tutorial. I think I would use Velcro instead of the magnetic closure though. Do you still have to be careful about magnets around electronics?

I actually looked into this before I made mine. Consensus was that it shouldn't be an issue, but I also have an older version of the Kindle so that might be different. Here is a forum from amazon, but I don't see that someone from amazon actually answered. (http://www.amazon.com/forum/kindle/T...Fx1D7SY3BVSESG)

With all of that said, velcro would work just fine as well.
