    If you can accurately sew a 1/4" seam, you shouldn't have trouble doing a Twister quilt. You do need to be careful when you cut your squares. You don't want to overcut by so much that you cut into where the next square needs to be cut. While some people have made their own rulers, I do recommend you use the original ones. The Lil' Twister would be a good one for you to start with. You can use the ruler and a charm pack to get you started. Or, a layer cake and the original Twister ruler will make a nice sized lap quilt.
