DeneK your quilt for you DIL turned out so beautiful. I love the backing also. You have a beautiful work of art and a lovely Heirloom for your family to hold onto there.

As I have caught up on reading from being MIA for a month. I have to say I see a lot of beautiful finished QAYG quilted projects. I'm going to wait until spring comes around again before I embark on any new QAYG techniques. But am always willing to share my experiences and knowledge. I hope you all enjoyed the several projects and techniques we covered this summer. And I thank everyone for their input and sharing as we learned to QAYG together.

    Have an awesome day.

    Jen

Today I finished my State Star Quilt. I've had my blocks finished for a while but couldn't decide how to put them all together. I used the Quilt As You Go Block Method & am very happy with the results. I SID in most of the blocks & around the sashing. It is a very heavy quilt so I know it will keep us warm this winter. Here are pictures of the front & back of it.

Thank you Jenniky for starting this Thread. Looking forward to seeing more from you in the Spring!

Patricia--very pretty quilt. I like the combination of the light and dark backgounds. I have been following the 50 stars thread on and off.

Patricia - beautiful quilt. Wasn't it fun creating the back too? I love that part of QAYG creativity.

Jenniky - you take whatever time you need. I, personally, appreciate your hard work by presenting these tutorials. Maybe I can actually get some quilts made while waiting for your next technique LOL
