    Oh my goodness what a treasure he has given you. That shows how much he must think of you to have given you his favorite quilt. What a wonderful keepsake for generations to come. Enjoy!

    I love your quilt and I have an old one also that was given to me but I had to do some repairs on mine. It is a string version of the Steeplechase block in a snowball setting. It is also known by other names but that is the most common name for it. What a wonderful gift to be treasured.
