    The finished size is 16 X 34. It was so simple to make. I didn't think it needed a border so I just put on the binding. Thanks for the compliment.

    Batiks are my favorite and this is a great way to use them! Storing in my memory for a future project idea.

    So your squares were 2" to start with and your sashing strips were 1" to start with?

    Yes, you are correct with the measurements. I just quilted in the ditch to quilt it. The simpler, the better for this one.

    I love it - it reminds me of sheets of negatives taken before prints are made (obviously a long time ago!)....nice effect!
