I have started my center on its journey!
    I have a question! ....
when I find the border for the center I am receiving, and I attach it ... is that when I post the next picture?
hmmm ... thinking ... I think that must be correct ...
Doesn't matter <g> since this is a little like labor ... I got the whole thing started ... this is NOT the time to re-think things! LOL

Elle, really pretty center. Did you use metallic thread on the applique. Love the background color.

It's small - 12.5" square - or actually closer to 12.25 - sorry about that! I was very surprised when I put my 12.5" ruler on it to check, because all the papers matched up perfectly, so I can't figure out where I lost 1/4 inch. It's my first try at foundation paper-piecing, though, so maybe I missed something somewhere.

I'm thinking that I will leave it up to Colletta as to whether to set it on pointe or not. I think it would look good either way, what do the rest of you think?

Now to carefully get all the paper backing off without ruining anything, and to make a label to send along with it.

Nope, not a whisper, but that snow scene made me sit by the fire!
I do think I have an idea, but 3 in. is very limiting
Never have been limited before, this could be challenging, and that is a good thing. 8)
