    Default Hickory nut question

    Hi,

For those of you that have the Hickory nut templates, can you use a charm pack for the small template?

    Thanks,
    Kathy

Have you seen the tutorial here on the board? It looks to be a good one. Since the inner template is 3.5 inches the charm pack should work.

Will the outer template work on a 5" square?

According to Eddie the outer ring is 5.5" so my guess is that it wouldn't work.
    Here's the tutorial.

The hickory nut comes in 3 sizes..I have 2 of them so far...you need to doublw check what size you have, and measure it to compare to the fabric

Last night I used the smallest hickory nut template, the outer ring on the 5" squares and you can rotate it to fit the charm. Also, since you're folding in an inch all the way around it doesn't matter it the tip of a corner is cut off.
