Project Linus is an organization that gathers handmade quilts and blankets for distribution to kids in need of comfort. Kids in hospitals, shelters and other social services programs are likely recipients. My local chapter's focus is kids who are removed from their homes by social services. The name comes from the Peanuts comic strip character Linus.
