Yes totally agree, that out of the country shipping is very expensive. Quite often 2 or 3 things are absolutely amazing and I'm sure your package is. It's often not how much is in it. I'm sure whoever she is, she will love it!!

I know your box isn't for me as I have mine (wish I knew if mine arrived safely!).
I used to fret about this too as I do the Secret Pal swap, but everyone knows that you have to limit the weight/contents. I always put a reminder at the end of my swap info to be careful of the weight - a little costs a lot! Don't worry - your gift will be delightful and much appreciated as it is the spirit of giving that is important.

Marcialee they will love your present I am also sure. I couldn't pay that much either if it were me. I am like you, and I am a giver too. It will be fun.

Just finished packing my box. Going south of me with lots of handmade and homemade goodies. Not too much was listed for info so I just kept adding as I went along. Hope she likes everything. Had to hide my package out of site so I wouldn't be tempted. My SS box will go out on Tuesday,on my way to doctor, no mail tomorrow. It has been a lot of fun and were not done yet........

So okay, hummm; well I can say that I'm working on my box for my SS but the more I look at this thread, I feel like mine might be a bit small in comparsion. LOL. So trying to come up with some quick ideas using what I got on hand... to you know kind of fluff it up a tad.... boy is that a challenge to a newbie. And I just realized I don't have any wrapping paper!!! Good Grief Charlie Brown!!! I even passed up the chance to sign up for the Nov. SP. so that I can concertate on this one package. I still have a couple more days to ponder on so .... I'm off and running.

    Toodles,
    Tricia

Your dogs are waiting to see if Tink sent them another package??? They will be disappointed...Tink is over her spending allowance and will not be shipping anything to anyone for a while. Had to take my credit card away from that stinker...she was shopping on ebay.
