Default How to set up my sewing table

A wonderful patron at the restaurant I work at on the weekends gave me this sewing table. I am not quite sure where to put my sewing machine. Was wondering if anyone out there uses one and can share some pictures on how they have theirs. Thanks.

I don't have one of these, but I'm guessing the left side of the sewing machine will slide under the top level of the table so the sewing bed is even with that table. Have you tried that?

The table (where the face place is) of your machine should fit in the U-shaped opening. It allows your machine to be level with the top of that table. Fabulous table you were given!!

I have one like that, it came with my older Pfaff years ago. It does not have the hinged back piece on the top like yours has. It will probably not fit every machine, but it does fit around the machine and gives more sewing space.

This isn't the same product, but does have a picture that might give you a clearer idea. http://seweziusa.com/

The hole/indent will be shaped for a specific machine, so do not be alarmed if yours does not fit.
You may be able to re-cut it to work for your machine.
If the height doesn't work, set another board under your machine to lift it up to the hole.

Here is the table I bought and luckily my machine fit perfectly. I was planning on cutting the opening to the needed size if my machine did not fit.
