Default 50 Fabulous Paper Pieced Star Quilt is Finished!

I made this quilt with a group on the Board, hosted by Poker Diva, who did a fabulous job of leading us. This is paper pieced from Carol Doak's book and Foundation Factory CD of the same name.

We did one block a week this year, and some of us finished early. I assembled my blocks in 7 sections, each of which I free motion quilted with a different design. I felt that this quilt was too busy to quilt each block; the quilting would have gotten lost.

It is amazing what we can do, "one day (or one block) at a time."
