Did you do fun and done for putting your block together? They are awsome. So turn a blind eye to your mistakes. Do you go looking for others mistakes? of course not. So stop being so hard on yourself. It is beautiful.

    Nutty,

Yes, I used Fun and Done to put the blocks together. It was mostly fun. It would've been more fun had I cut more accurately. That skill is improving, too. Next time I'll do better.

Everyone sees their own mistakes the most. I still love my quilt. Mistakes and all. :)

Did you quilt each block then put it together? How far apart are your quilting rows? They match up so well. A stunning quilt!

Jeannie -- I made a quilt sandwich for each block. The backing was 2 inches larger than the block and batting. Starting in the upper left corner, I drew diagonal lines every inch across the quilt. After they were quilted, I sewed them together and used the extra backing as sashing.

It is best explained here. I used their quilting and backing idea on regular quilt blocks.
