    Default fat quarter "grab bag"

Would you buy a grab bag of fat quarters if the price was right?

Only if I weren't particular and I didn't have any stash. But I am particular and I have two rooms of fabric, so no.

I don't buy fat quarters any more. I already have a lot and find that I rarely (if ever) use them. My preference is for larger pieces of fabrics that I really, really like. Often I'm just not crazy about the fat quarter pieces I acquire or, if I do happen to really like one of them, I want more of a fabric I can't get.

Depends on "how right" the price was - and what kind of fabric was in the grab bags.

If I was buying, I would like to have them displayed in a plastic bag - it could be a "buyer takes everything" in the bag deal - but I still would want to see if there was enough "good stuff" in it for me to think it was worth buying.

I guess my answer is "no, I don't think I would buy a blind grab bag of anything"

Would I ever! I am a fat quarter fanatic ... any colour, any pattern, any vintage.

Yes, I have. But I am not a huge fat quarter fan. I bought one for my good friend for her birthday in August.

Yes, because I am into scrappy and this is a good way to get variety. In scrappy quilts it is often the oddball fabrics that add a sparkle.

No, I like to see what I'm getting no matter what the price.

Yes sometimes I end up with fabric I wouldn't buy but works really well. I think we all steer away from certain colors. Forces me to change it up a bit.

Agreed - I like buying this way because I tend to buy variations on the same themes. I like the variety and new perspectives!
