Well SP, today I wrote your note and printed the postage to be sent off Monday so I can pack it up tomorrow at my leisure.

Lori, I'm so sorry to hear about your diabetes, but glad you did get to go home. Some doctors "get it" more then others, sounds like yours did. I hope you get to spend some quality time with your friends. It'll cheer you up a bunch, I bet.

Nice little bags MamaHauser! I made one of those coffee mug organizers, have one sitting beside my machine and just love it. Those florals squares look like they could be a nice project.

Lori, glad to hear you're out of the hospital and home - and keep the activities to a minimum and you're mending!! Don't overdo it. All of us on this swap realize what you're trying to do and have been planning our boxes since sign up day, so no reason really to miss the deadlines. We'll all remember to send our PMs to you (won't we ladies??) Take a deep breath or two and 'chill'.
Jaba, went back and looked at MamaHauser's pictures - what's a coffee mug organizer? Nothing in the picture remotely looked like it might fit that description....I'm dense....

See that little thing sitting on the bags, under all those little pockets is a coffee mug that it sits into. You sew the little compartments inside and out. then put it over the coffee mug and tied it to the handle. I have my stilleto, pens, 6" ruler, etc. all in there and they stay in 1 little spot ready to grab when I need them.

Sent My pal's pkg today. I was so intent on getting to the post office in time, I forgot to include a note. I did put my screen name on the quilty address label, so keep your eye out!
Hint: Have not seen my pal post here, but I've been swapping for a long time and never knew you all posted pics and stuff til last month...makes it much more fun!
    Hint: famous for cheese.....

According to the delivery confirmation, SP should've gotten pkg yesterday but has not posted to thread yet. I don't think my SP posts much on this thread anyway, I checked her previous posts and she only posts when she wants to join the swap so it may be awhile....will wait and see!

Lori we all happy to hear that you finally got to leave the hospital. May you continue to working towards the goal of Good Health!!!! It's no fun being sick and even worse when it's away from the comforts of home.

To My SP ... I am slowly mauling over some thoughts in my slow brain for some wonderful gifties for your goody box. I am hoping that I can make a gift that you can be proud to receive. But then I am mine own worse critic, so it might be okay.

I have to share ... I now have two new FURBABIES!!!!! Yeah now I really feel like I belong in the quilter community ...LOL!!! I have their story and links to their pictures on my blogpage. Now I'm going to have to make a toy or two for them to see if they have any interest in toys although it might be a couple weeks before they get to that point.

Man I still feeling a bit "blues-y" but maybe the pretty layer of new snow might help me feel more in the Holiday Mood. Well I'm off & running.
    Toodles,
    Tricia
