I have the Go. I like the strip dies - got the 2 1/2 inch die with the machine and just ordered the 1 1/2. In fact ordered 3 from Joann's because they had them all 40% over the last weekend and free shipping since it was over $50.00. When I got the machine I bought the finished 5 in block, the die that comes with the machines (4" block, 2.5" square & 2.5" hst, the 6" & 3" tumblers, then just ordered the hexagon with 2", 3" & 5" hexagon dies, a 4" x 4" diamonds. Haven't done much with it yet, but that is a matter of time.

I don't do the iron applique, so have not thought about buying the other style. So it really depends on the type of quilting you like to do will dictate what you want to buy.

The most valuable dies for me are the triangles. They are cut perfectly, with the corners nipped off, so it is really easy to match them up. I would definitely look for a half-square triangle die for triangles that finish to a 3" square.

Is there a 10' square die for the GO?

The largest one I can find is the 8 & 1/2 finished so that is 8 inch square - which is currently on sale at Accuquilt.

I have the June Taylor strip cutter which goes up to 12 inches and I also have the square rulers that are much for that size for me.

I think this will help you a lot. http://www.accuquilt.com/patterns/fr...lock-free.html

You have to "order" this from the Accuquilt site, but it's free. Just a simple download. Laura
