I don't have any advise on the quilting pattern, but I do love everything about your quilt! I love the colors, the fabric, and the pattern, so I am sure I will love whatever quilting pattern you choose. it is so strikingly beautiful and unique! You should win the fair with this quilt!

The pattern has pressing instructions and if followed will cause the seams to nest together perfectly - no pinning required. The quilt goes together like butter, I promise.
When you opt to "reverse engineer" a pattern, rather than buy it, you miss these wonderful little nuggets of wisdom that many designers include. I just ordered this pattern and some fabrics to make this quilt. I hope it is a printed pattern to follow along. Guess I'll find out! OMG I just noticed THIS is a 2010 post...
