This was my first train ride. Really liked the finished quilts. Does anyone know when the next train ride is. I came upon this one after it had already started. Don't want to miss the next one.

I, also, don't want to miss the next train. Where will I find info posted when they fire up the engines?

Watch the Blocks of the Month and Week forum. That's where this train left the station!

Finallhy finished! I didn't quite get the binding done before having a small surgery on the middle finger of my right hand on Monday. That put a stop to my hand sewing for a little while, but I was finally able to get my fingers bending enough last night to finish the binding. I used a high-loft batting, and did SID around the squares. I remembered that my machine has a tacking stitch that simulates tying a quilt, so I decided to try that in the middle of each block, since the batting is so "poofy". Whatcha think? I'm planning to donate this to the chemo room at our hospital, where my DH goes for cancer treatment.

They are going to love it. I like the tacking stitch in the middle of your blocks, looks good. I also like the way you quilted on the white fabric. Do you mind if I copy you on what you did on the white fabric? It's going to be the end of next month, I think before I start quilting on my.
