    Default Hockey quilt suggestions?

    Hi,

    I need some inspiration lol.
My son (25 years old ) asked me to make him a hockey quilt using both of his favorite teams.
St. Louis Blues and New Jersey Devils.
I found a small ice rink panel to use and thought about adding blues fabric on one end and devils fabric on the other end. Problem is I cannot find any fabric on these teams. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I would look for team sheets or pillowcases because I don't think they sell novelty fabric for NHL teams. You could also get a team t-shirt for each team and build from there.

You could take their logos and make them.
Great idea to have the two on each end of the quilt ... and perhaps you could re-create the ice surface complete with the markings and the NHL logo at centre ice.

These aren't team fabrics, but hockey-related:

I did this one for a football nut a few months ago, you could do something like this with the logos- maybe one team on each end with the rink in the center?

The NHL doesn't authorize any yardage. You are going to need to find a garment or throw with the team(s) logos and use that.

You could make each side (front and back) be for different teams. He may have old t shirts you could use on the quilt. Good luck.
