Girl Scouts, Crayolas, dark/light chocolate! All y'all have BEAUTIFUL quilts! And I'm lovin all the quilting ideas. I hope the next mystery has a scrappy option. I have to keep doing scrappy until I finish all grandmas quilts.

    Judy is brilliant!

SO I have until 3/2 to finish this one. I have a home for it. I am going to donate it to the school carnival. Hope it raises a lot of money. I need to quilt and bind it. Also somehow my math went bad and my back is a little too small. I have an extra pile of squares I will sew together and put the down the middle of the back.

Working on borders for mine. Got a 2" plain one on and still need it bigger so I'm now cutting out
2-1/2" x 4-1/2" strips for a scrappy piano key border. Only have about 50 cut so far. Think that's about 1/3 of what I need.

cattails, I'm sure someone save the posts, sorry that I didn't on those 2 you mentioned.

meanmom, great solution for the back to match the front!

    Mom6 - way to go!

And to everyone who is so supportive of my mysteries, I truly thank you. You make all the work involved worth while. I finally have the next one drafted on paper, just need to get my lazy butt in gear, do the match, start to make the thingie and do the photographs.

    See ya later, gaters!

page numbers may vary but post numbers are accurate

    Direct quote from Judy:

Someone asked about different sizes of blocks. Sulabug used her 4" blocks -- she cut the squares for the flying geese at 2-1/4" square and the rectangle connecting sections at 4" x 11". Those who want to use 5" blocks, the geese squares would be 2-3/4" square and the rectangles 5" x 14"
