Hello dear quilters, I wold love to be able to make a quilt using this block. (I'll attach the photo) The problem is, I don't have a pattern or I'm not smart enough to figure it out. Can someone please help me out? I will gladly pay for the pattern or if anyone can direct me to a website that has it. I will be eternally grateful. Thanks,

This kind of looks like a version of x's and o's. If you google that, there are all kinds of images and tutes. Good luck. I do like the pattern.

I have Quilt Assistant and looking at the picture, it could be strip pieced, sewing a colored strip, white strip, colored strip. Cut into triangles and sew together.

Could you make square blocks, 3" sq (or whatever size you like) in middle and then a contrast border, and another border of middle fabric, then cut them diagonally and reposition the triangles to form the cross, just a thought, should have tried it before offering advice I guess, Nanajen

I see two options.

I always look for the seam lines, so I enlarged the picture (and apologies to the picture owner).

The smaller block unit could be equilateral triangles (60 degrees) cut from a 3 strip strip set that was
color-white-color.
Eight sewn together will make the block. (oops, I missed a green line)
This would leave bias edges all around the outside of the blocks (quarter and larger one)

The other option I see is that it was pieced like Summer in the Park - there's a Missouri Quilt video (now with an annoying dentist commerical):

While the two strip sets in the video and pattern are different
(one is color-white-color and the other is white-color-white),
if you were to make the two strips sets EXACTLY the same (both color-white-color),
and follow the instructions given for sewing and cutting, you would end up with a block that has SIX stripes - I numbered them on the diagram below (sorry the numbers are so small).

Then you would sew together 4 of those blocks (same coloring) to get the larger block.

Personally, I hate this pattern because of all the bias, but I know MQC has a huge following, so the customers must all not mind it.
If you go this route, I'd suggest starching your fabrics (or at least the strip sets) before cutting the squares.
