Haven't been on much lately and trying to catch up but I have to quit for tonight so here it goes
gzuslivz-I totally agree with you on your experience, I too would have been hurt if I made something for someone that they specifically said they wanted and in their favorite colors, and then they sent it to someone else, And on top of that to not even mention it was made by you. In your case it was made specifically for them and it was something they asked for.
I do try to stay in the $10 budget, using coupons, looking for sale items, close outs etc. I do so as consideration to all who want to participate. Last year a few had expressed they couldn't afford to spend more and dropped out one did say it was because she felt her sp would feel slighted because her package wasn't as full as others. The padded flat rate priority is under $6, unless it went over with the latest increase, and unless something is fragile I can usually get my stuff in one of them. Ok moving on.

The Cardinal is the state bird of 7 states: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virgina, and West Virgina. And I think your are correct skaduzy about Ohio the only state that has Hang on Sloopy as their official R & R song.

I hope to get my package in the mail by Tuesday; It will travel more than 500 miles, but less than 1000. I gave other clues earlier, but don't remember if I said it is going west of me. They are not having a heat wave right now either.

Krystyna hang in there. I haven't had personal experience with rebuilding after a disaster, but it seems seldom do folks get reimbursed for their total cost, and nothing for all the work you have to do to get any of it done.
Hope all that were hit with blizzard weather are ok. Think there were 2 in the country this weekend the NE and west / midwest areas.

Lori glad Marty is doing well. Good news. And Yes your GD is adorable!!! can't wait to see other pics, well maybe they are posted but I'm only to pg. 44 so if they are on I'll see them tomorrow.

Hope to get my package pic posted after work tomorrow.

Jill so sorry to hear about tragedy. Prayers.

Just to be clear, I am not the Jill that had the fire. But, it has made me more aware about leaving my iron on, even though it has auto shut off.

Ok, SP, your package is out in the front hall for the mail lady to pick it up for you and wing it on it's way. It's going slightly west and north of me, but not too far.

Today it's just wet and cool, not anything like the NE got nailed with. We lived there in '78 and had a very interesting time trying to get home to E. Mass from W mass...can just imagine how hard it is to get around. One of the very first things we sold was our snowblower and ya know what, I don't miss it a bit.

K, keep fighting. I know when I was trying to get disability, they just keep saying no so many people just give up. I wish it weren't such a mess and that you could just go file a simple set of papers and get a check. Good luck.
