I took a piece of 1 X 12 and covered it for a small ironing service and it sits on the end of my cutting table. I don't set up the "big board" until I need it. Your space looks like where I started 10 years ago. Happy quilting.

This is my little corner of the spare room.

Ironing board had to be moved to make room for...THIS! Ok, so it's not as big as HIS table that he made last weekend, but I got the leftover parts of the doors for the top, and now I have a 32.5" (height) cutting table! Yee Haa!

love, love, love your natural light. Since the table took up the room of the iron, how about a june taylor Ironing mat to lay on the table? Dig out the big Ironing board for the finished quilt or large items.......Just a thought.
