I am always pleased with the package from my sp. It is so much fun to find a box on my porch or a big fat envelope in my mailbox. I usually take it with me to see my mother and we open it together. She is getting further and further away now...at 95 she doesn't always know me. Sometimes she thinks I am her mother but she does love to look in the packages that I bring..she used to love to quilt and she still remembers that. She may look at the magazine upside down but you know what? You should give it a try..the quilts look pretty that way, too. If you get my name I am going to love what you send and if I get yours I will do my best to send what I hope you will really like. If you don't, pass it on or send it back to me...Mom will be thrilled to open the package.

    You'd get a piece at anyone's door.

Translation: You'd be welcome anywhere. A 'piece' is a sandwich, usually jam. A long time ago (when I was growing up, lol) playing children would shout up to their mother in the flat (apartment) above, 'Mammy! Gie's a piece!' and mother would throw down a jam sandwich. Oh, the memories!

Louise, I do the same! I highlight what the sp would not want to receive or does not have a like for, i.e., orange as a color for fabric and I do try my best to stick with the colors they do like when it comes to handmade items. Lori, glad you are feeling much better! Yes March is a good month and hopefull all of you that have been hit with the winter storm see the end of the light with a new fresh breath of air with spring! Everyone have a good day! I'll be heading to the Naples Quilt Show on Saturday with a few friends and possibly to the lqs as well. Everyone have a great day!

I am really looking forward to seeing who I get and their list of likes. Got some ideas already but will be nice to do something personal. Hoping to make some new quilty friends doing this.

I have several seam rippers. I took a class on Craftsy last year called Stitch N Slash and after we stitch we slash to create our 3D effect project. VERY COOL.

I do something similar but print only two copies. One I leave at home and the other in my vehicle.

K - With that blond wig she makes me think of Bridgett Bardot.

OK SP, I can't wait to get to know about you! This swap really helps us know each other better. I love that!
