    Very nice!
I did a somewhat similar corduroy quilt for a friend who requested corduroy on both sides. Talk about a heavy quilt! But she loves it - she named it Blankelroy (corduroy blanket) - said it was perfect for camping.

For those of you who might make a quilt using corduroy here are some hints. Corduroy does stretch. So I alternated the wales vertically and horizontally. Because corduroy has a definite texture, smooth or rough as you move your fingers along the wales, I tried to make sure that I reversed the blocks through out the quilt. The texture picks up the light differently and give a little more color variation. Don't worry too much about the corners all meeting exactly cuz it won't happen. The herringbone stitching hides a lot. Quilt Police are not allowed!

Wow...I never thought of using corduroy for a quilt. It looks like velvet in the photo. I love the colors, the design and the quilting. It is going to be a quilt well loved for many years to come. I will never look at corduroy the same again.

I love your quilt! I usually throw in some corduroy squares when making a rag quilt. The texture makes it so interesting.

Great Job! I also use corduroy for my quilts. I love them for the cabin.

I made my daughter a twin size corduroy quilt using scraps from clothing I'd made for her since she was a baby.
I cut lots of 5" squares and used 1/2" seam allowances. I used a light weight cotton batting, pincord fabric for the backing and tied with yarn.
