I totally agree Jeanie. The dual colors in the sashing balances the dual colors used throughout the blocks. You are extremely talented GrannyQ to foresee this fantastic result.

GrannyQ--congrats on finishing the last few blocks and the blocks all together are great! I too really like your sashing choices.

Ditto, I cast my votes the same way. Wonderful dual colored quilt. A job well done, GrannyQ.

All your blocks look great as usual. Amazing the difference colour placement makes.
After a rather lengthy break, I did another block this morning. Western Star is complete.

I have decided I have two more to go. That will make 35 blocks in total - 30 from the book, 4 raven blocks and 1 centre cross stitch, which was the reason for the delay in quilt block sewing.

My goodness, W4Me ... the wait has been definitely worth it!
Do I see bling in your aida cloth?? .... how nice!!
Your cross stitch is going to make for a great centrepiece in your quilt.

Great FC work for the pumpkin star!
It will really help pull the orange from the cross stitch to the forefront for your finished quilt.
And once again, look at how it pulls that chameleon sage glows orange!!

I wondered where you were!!! I love those blocks and the cross stitch will make a great center. It's been fun traveling the PC trail again with you ( more fun this time because I'm not making those blocks LOL). Can't wait to see the finished product.
