is there a reason for the spacific width of the board. i get the height since thats is WOF folded twice. but my shelves are 12" deap so 7 1/2" wastes alot of room. I know i could get more boards made for more fabric making them smaller but I only have so much shelf room and am trying to make more room.

WOW, you room is beautiful, I have been using the plastic bags to store my fabric, but after seeing your room, I am ordering all my supplies, I also bought white bookshelves and dvd racks from Ikea and they work great and not very expenive. I orderd supplies from Quilt Fabric Organizers and the buddy clips. I will post pics when i have completed.
    thanks for a great tutoral.

Could you give us an idea of the layout to cut the boards from the sheet of foamcore? You said that you'd be able to get 8 pieces from a sheet. I would like to see the cutting layout so I can maximize each board. Thank you so much for this fabulous idea. My sewing room surely needs some organizing, and the foamcore boards are here waiting. Just have to get them cut properly and start sorting fabric! Thank you! bettyboop53
