you just need to get used to the wind & the cold. Once it arrives it seems like it's been here all the time. It was actually 56 degrees here today and beautiful! My son is actually going to the Concordia seminary there and will graduate in May so we'll be heading that way.

Wonderful! Maybe we can meet up when you come for his graduation! We have lots of FINE quilt shops in our area.
All I remember from my first 7 years in Minnesota is being COLD! That was in the days when we banked the house with hay, before bales, and I had to walk to school across the field. Need I say more? It was not up hill both ways because we were on the prairie and it was FLAT! :?
