Cindy, I got my "skinny" FQ's in the mail today. As for my weight...I was up on Monday and again today! My counselor went over my food journal and couldn't understand why. Everyone that came in today had gained. She thinks it might be her scales, so she is getting new ones. I hope that takes care of the problem. I haven't cheated on my diet or changed anything. I write everything down at each meal and drink all my required water. I told her not to stress over it because I wasn't going to. haha I know I've done everything I was supposed to do and my body just has to get used to the idea. I think this is the first time in my life that I haven't stressed when I didn't lose or if I gained. I don't think my "fat" likes the idea that I've "broken up" with it. It's still trying to "cling" to me and I'm over it like a bad relationship! LOL Anyway, you should be getting my fabric next week. Have a great weekend everyone.

Well, I am getting back on track. It kills me to grab a carrot when I am looking at all the Easter candy. I even have 20 hot cross buns in the freezer and 6 Cheryl's cookies. But, I will survive!!!!! (I hope)

I love everyones attitude about not stressing and looking for ways to improve their health. With having this bronchitis I have put on a few pounds as well. I think it is because the medicine is causing my sugars not to be in as good of a control as they were before I got sick.

Keep your thoughts positive and no matter what happens you will be successful

Sometimes we have to take one for the team. Remember you are the one who makes the choice of what we put in our mouths. Make wise decisions on what you want. It is all about those choices we make.

Ladies what are you working on lately? I am still trying to finish up the t-shirt quilts I need to get done. Need to measure the one I have finished the top so I can get the backing and get it quilted. We are suppose to have beautiful weather here this weekend. I have the windows open and will enjoy the nice weather before it gets too cold or hot again.

I am finishing up on some swap projects. (pin cushions and needle books) I will be working some more on my quilt, but that is going slow, because I put it aside when having to do other things. My dear dad yesterday came up to me and husband with big donuts to have with him. We both wanted them so badly, but we both said no dad we can't. My husband is still staying with his strict plan by his doctor. I am still with mine too. I find it a bit easier when he is doing his too. His blood sugars have come way down. I may have already said this, so sorry if I am repeating anything, but he takes insulin, and his doctor had him changed from giving his shots in his stomach to giving them in his arms and legs. She said she had a patient that had blood sugar that just wouldn't come down, and so she had her do this and right away they went down. The woman was heavy so the insulin in the stomach wasn't getting absorbed, but just staying there due to the fat area. So that is what happened with my husband too. Just thought I would pass this along for anyone who might have had this happen. Have a good weekend everyone.

I have been working on Allie's quilt. I think I have the block placement figured out so I can start sewing them together. It will have a piano key border and then a pink border.
The weather has been driving me crazy. I have bee having headaches 3-5 days a week.

    Pam I love Allie's quilt.

Well it seems my body is telling me I need more rest, I slept until 10 this morning and after getting nails done, laid down to watch tv and fell asleep again. Guess the bronchitis took more out of me than I thought.
