I have the Clovers in couple of sizes and I use them. I love making bia in different fabrics and use the tape for different craft projects.

I make my own bias tape without a little gadget. I do have them in a range of sizes, but prefer to make my own as I like to have double tape on the edge of my quilts.

Speaking of making bias strips...I need 1/8" strips for a mini stained glass project. Any ideas on how to make this? The bias makers don't come that small, and grosgrain ribbon doesn't have the stretch for rounding curves. I've tried sewing down one side of a bias strip and then flipping it over and folding it under and sewing down the other side which is fine until I get to anything round. Then the width dwindles to less than 1/8" and you can really see the variation. It doesn't even cover the almost nonexistant seam on the other side! Anyone done this before? I mean mini stained glass? What did you use? Thanks for any help you can give me!!

Have you tried the Bias Bars? They are only 7.25 on my site. Check them out. They are under NOTIONS and then click binding.

Hi, yes I always use mine if I want my binding on a bias. They are very easy to use and they do a really great job.

i have a couple - Clover and a metal one. I prefer the clover. I use them and don't buy bias binding anymore. I make all my own. For doing stain glass I also use a fusible tape which you press onto the wrong side of the bias(once pressed). You then peel off the paper, put tape in place and press again , then stitch down. So easy and no pins needed.
