Default Binding keeper my brother made for me

I asked my brother to make this so I could use it for the big skeins of yarn sold by red heart. It makes it really easy to unwind the yarn from the skein into a ball. You thread the center rod through the skein and it unwinds very easily. I saw the original product (called a yarn unwider) on ebay and sent my brother a picture. I imagine it was pretty easy to make he only needed the dimensions of a skein of yarn to make sure it would be tall enough and wide enough. It's made from PVC pipe and the metal rod in the middle. I recently used it to wind my binding on for the last quilt I made and this tool made it so easy to have the binding under the table and no problems with twisting. It really helped a lot.
