I don't know the amounts...but I add Miracle Whip, lemon jc., eggs, relish, mustard, celery, green onions, sometimes black olives. You can add pimento, or cucumber too. I have found that the miracle whip makes a big difference for our family to like it. Oh...a secret ingredient I add is a teaspoon or 2 of sugar. Don't tell on me. You can't taste the sugar it just gives it a different twist.

I don't have the recipe in front of me, but if this interests you let me know and I will send it.
Macaroni of course and chopped celery, green onion, black olives, hard boiled egg, onion, and and tuna. Dressing is mayo, mustard, sugar, vinegar, milk for moisture and garnish with quartered tomatoes.
I hate HB eggs so don't use them. Just takes less milk to moisten.

I like to add cubes of cheese to mine... The secret of being a good cook is to double the cheese in the recipe or just add it in if it's not already in the recipe.

I have a wonderful one. Have been using it for years. Here it is:

    Vegetable Macaroni Salad

    I box (16 oz.) macaroni
    1 t. salt
    1 T. oil
Cook macaroni with salt and oil according to pkg. directions (Don't over cook). Drain. Put in a large mixing bowl.

    1 large green peper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped (optional) (I don't use)
    4 carrots, shredded
Prepare in food processor and add to macaroni

    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 cup vinegar
    1 cup sugar
    2 cups mayonnaise
    1 t. salt 1/4 t. pepper
Blend well, add to macaroni mixture, combining thoroughly. Chill at least 5 hours. Enjoy.

How can anything with sweetened condensed milk in it not be good ! ! !? ! !

Vat, that dressing sounds great...but isn't the quantity too much for one box of macaroni?

Hmm after reading these mine is just plain. Elbow macaroni, tuna, mayo, onion, garlic, celery or celery seed. I make up a big bowl and eat it for a week. Sometimes after a day or so I add a little ranch dressing to a serving just for something different.

    Quick, easy Macaroni Salad

Portions depend on how much you want to make and your preference

    macaroni-cooked
    mayo made with olive oil
    cubes of cheese-sharp cheddar
    red onion-chopped
    pimento-from jar
    green peas-canned

    mix and fridge until chilled

    enjoy

    Just remembered .............

    Quickie Macaroni Salad
    Make Kraft Dinner
    Add some mayo
    That's it, that's all!

............. and of course, toss in any of the add-ins mentioned above. Though that means more work and kind of defeats the simplicity of the quickie!!

1 1/4 cup mayo, 2 tablespoons vinegar, 1 tablespoon sweet pickle juice, 1 teaspoon dry mustard, a sprinkle of paprika, salt and pepper. Mix with the macaroni and cool. It's better if it sits for a while. Adjust spices before serving. I also like to add albacore tuna.
