On July 1st, weight yourself and write it down. Please DO NOT send it to me. On July 31st, weigh yourself again and PM me your loss. This is weight lost not percentage lost I will announce the winner on August 3rd.

The prize is the monthly themed FQ pot. Private Message (PM) for mailing address All FQ's should be mailed by the 10th of the month.

You need to post on the thread at least once a week to be eligible for the winning "skinny quarters" FQ's pot and to be declared the "biggest loser" for the month.

You cannot win 2 months in a row.

Chit Chat is allowed, as well as WAYWO (what are you working on). Please stay posititve and uplifting as possible to keep us on track. Please share any tips, recipes, encouraging words and {{{HUGS}}}.

The prize is a themed FQ from each member who signs up. Once a winner is declared, I will contact the winner and the FQ's will be mailed by the 6th.

As we are in full swing of summer, the theme for this month is BATIKS. Please send quality fabric that you would want to receive. As always if you don't have the theme send what you have. If you don't have a FQ, you can send a linear 1/4 yard. If you have signed up to be in the running for the prizem please send your FQ to the hostess by the 10th of the month. As the winner has worked hard for her prize

July - Batiks
August -colors of fall
September - florals

When you send your FQ's in please include screen name, real name and your mailing info. Also it helps me if you label each FQ for the month it is for. Thank you

Ok I'm in again. Sorry everyone I am going to have to win for July because I'm not sure I can part with any of my precious batiks. I will probably have to live on water and nothing else for the whole month. Just kidding. I need the FQ.
My favorite LQS is having a big sale starting on Monday. Most fabric will be 50%off. Everything on sale WOO HOO! Going to go nuts. It is their moving sale.

Well, Pat and I are going to be fighting for the FQs this month! I do love a challenge! Sadly I do still love food too oh the choices will be interesting this month!!!

I wish I could stop by that quilt store, I love a bargain almost as much as eating...maybe more! But this pool we are putting in the back yard has drained our spending money down to, frankly nothing! Every time we turn around it's money for this or money for that. There will be no vacations for the next 10 years or so but maybe I can get a CD of ocean waves & close my eyes. Hey the travel time will be nice

I have made a 50"x50" table topper with some of last months FQs. I'll post a picture after it's quilted. With the rest of the FQs I am making 12.5 blocks to send to a Quilts For Vets project here on the QB. I thought that would be a great way to use them (they want red, white or blue blocks only) and pay it forward as well. I am happy to be able to show appreciate to our disabled veterans.

I'm in for July. Wow, July already!
It will really be a battle for the batiks this month. Game on! I have my 3 fq's cut and ready to go. Now let's see how long it takes me to get them in an envelope and in the mail. I have no idea how much it costs to mail them; I just know it is cheaper for me to send 3 at a time than 3 separately. Plus I don't have to worry about them for a few months. Don't forget to put in a dollar or so to help Cindy with the shipping cost.

Beachbound - if I remember right - .66 cents should do it. I put 3 into a 6x8 brown envelope and that's that I was charged last (but, I've slept since tha trip to the PO). Also, if you want to do something else for your vets - I head up a Quilts of Valor group here in my area and would love to have some of those block for a quilt - PM me if we could work something out.
I'm in for the next go round - will have my skinny quarters (AKA FQs) off in the mail Monday. Stayed the same this past month - guess that's better than a gain, right? Heading down to the sewing area to quilt (had a good lunch, need to stand up for awhile, not sit...

Count me in again. My DH, son, and DIL and I are going on a short trip to see friends in Franklin, TN this next week. I'll get my FQ's to you as soon as I can. I'm sending for the three months again. That way, I won't forget. haha

I'm in again and will send FQs for three months. Unfortunately, I had a little gain. I knew it wasn't a good month. But I HAVE been moving and exccercising a little more these last couple of days, yeah! And I have healthy dinners planned for the next several days.
