Just a quick note to address some of the questions: I browsed tutorials until I found one I could adapt to suit my needs. This is the one I used for getting all the right measurements, etc:

    http://linsieloo.com/2012/10/diaper-...-pad-tutorial/

Very clearly written, easy to understand, with lots of pictures. I did make a few changes, like binding it like a miniquilt with real binding, as the bias tape method never works very well for me. I sewed the binding onto the the open front and hand sewed it onto the closed back. (Does that make sense?) Either way would be fine. Something I would probably do different next time is instead of cutting the top, batting, and backing all to size before quilting, just cut generous and then cut to size after quilting. The sandwich does tend to shift a little even with utmost care. All in all, very fun project and very well received! The fun forest print is Hoos in the Forest in Yellow by Riley Blake and the green one is Gypsy Bandana by Pillows & Maxfield for Michael Miller.

Your changing clutch is darling. I went to the tutorial page and I'm wondering if you think the 5" pocket is large enough and leaves enough changing pad area? Just thinking about it, it seems like it might be a little small. If you made another one, would you increase the size 3 or 4 inches?
