Thrilled you are taking on the job, Lara. Krystyna, please promise to keep making doll quilts with us. This is my very favorite swap now that I have made 4 little ones.

Have a wonderful 4th...I have my flags out! Ran by Joann's and got the 20% veterans discount (my late DH is still getting me a surprise now and again!) and then spent several hours with my mother.

Gosh not sure vanogay. All I know is that the water flushes down the toilet the other way.

Glad to be in Doll Quilt swap. Going on 2 years. Thank you for taking over the swap. That was quick. Please do not change name of swap, Miniatures are so intimidating. Doll quilts are so forgiving, loving, and fun. Miniature swaps are everywhere, but Doll quilts are only here

Lara- Welcome to the job of DQ hostess! You will do a great job! It is a lot of work, I think! Wishing you the best each month. An interesting thought that miniature quilts might sound a bit intimidating and I suppose that could be true. Doll quilts seem "homey and loved". And wonderful if they are square or not! Just thinking outloud and have no real preference either way.

Worked on your DQ over the holiday Jillnjo. It is coming along. All the applique is finished - now to get the little goodies put on and then the quilting. Still lots to do even on a small quilt. Will spend today doing what I can on it. Sharp needles everyone!

Brat, Gaiatender doesn't have a partner.
    Luvstoquilt still has a partner.

OMG!!!! Krystyna, I, yes I, will miss you if you do not show up on here REGULAR like!! I joined this swap at a crucial point in my life, the members here actually helped me hold it all together. They bring me up when I am down, and when I start to feel sorry for myself I think of what so many others are going through (Sandy, Cancer, Loss of loved ones), I cannot help but think, "what you got to complain about, HUH?" And, as my girls always say, I put on my big girl panties and suck it up!! Krystyna, you are the glue that has held this group together, and you will be missed. That said, I am sure Buzzin will do a great job! I know I am not up to the task, but if I can ever help, that I can do.
