    Love the pinwheels - who would have thought to use the small pinwheels as a border - nice touch!

    You all would not believe how fast you can make a pinwheel using the technique from Missouri Star Quilt Company. Really made it easy to get them done, and I'm so PROUD of myself that most of my points match! They have never done that before! It's really worth checking into.

    Yes it is handquilted. I'm not on my computer that has my quilt pictures, and I'm not sure if I have a close up or not... Just did around the edges of all the blacks so the colors would pop on the bigger pinwheels and around the smaller ones I think. I gave the quilt to the little boy and can't remember what I did!

    The Missouri Star Quilt tutorials are on Youtube.com. They are free! You can even subscribe to them so when they come out with new ones you will be notified. They are very clear and make things so much easier for me since I haven't had but a beginner's quilting class. I really enjoy them.
