I finished up another swap commitment so now I'm working on getting my fabric washed/cut/stuffed this weekend. I finally decided on fabrics.

Greetings fellow Merope,s
I finally have a break from getting the Textile Department set up for opening day at my County Fair. I still have 2 more days to get things looking pretty, then the opening day is July 24 and ends July 28. Then it is take down and put it all away for next year. I have ½ of my envelopes ready to mail and will get them out after I am done with the fair.

Well, I did it! I've finished my first BOOM block. I had a hard time trying to decide which color scheme to go with, so I did two, I will send them both home and the owner can decide which to use. I will get pictures tomorrow to post in my album and then trot them off to the PO. I hope she likes it.

I loved making your block so much I made 2. I am a retired art teacher and have visited the Eqyptian art galleries at MMA
many times. My students wrote their names in hieroglyphics and drew family portraits in the Eqyptian style. If you have not seen "Pyramid" on video by David MacCauley, check it out! Dotty/NYC
