Default Glad to see an Ambassador!

I have had an Ambassador Deluxe Zig Zag since the late 1960's. I haven't found any instructions, but still looking.

picked this up a couple of days ago but it had to remain stowed away in the back of my suv until I cleared a spot for her. Its a German made 15 (15-88 I think) in a parlor cabinet. It was made in Wittenberg, Germany, and if my information is correct, dates to 1926.

Snusi, your Ambassador looks so regal.... very nice machine.

and, Jenn.... I am so jealous.... I'm wanting a 15 to do FMQ on my quilts and I passed one up a couple of weeks ago because the tension was missing. I'm kicking myself. Yours is beautiful.... big cabinet though. That usually slows me down when I see a big cabinet..... it's the space issue. But, nice machine and cabinet.

Thank you Nanna and Nancy. It is an exceptional machine and has an exceptional cabinet too. I would love to keep it for myself but like many of us, I just don't have the room.

Default Singer Famous Buttonhole Maker MDLC

Found a straight leg treadle with a 66 and drawers full of stuff. Nice button hole chisel with it and assorted attachments. I really like the old button hole maker.

This little 128K (1927) caught my fancy today....I was delighted to find she still has her shuttle (with no burs or scratches). Plugged her in out in DH garage so the house fuses wouldn't blow and was pleased to see she does work although she is very stiff. She doesn't have a light...(did they not come with the motor?) and I was wondering how authentic the foot shaped pedal is. Not sure which class/variant she is.

Glenn, don't you just love it when you find the drawers full of stuff. I do.

Ruby, she sure is pretty!! I bet she'll sew just fine when you give her a day of spa treatment.... cleaning, oiling, they just love that.

I have this same machine, mine is not working either. I don't dare plug it in and am using it for decoration in my sewing room. Was it originally a treadle? I have a new (don't know what to call it) hand crank still in the box.
