Quilting stitch advice

That is a lovely quilt. No advice here but wanted to say how much I love your quilt. Good luck with the quilting. I believe in keeping it simple so as not to take away from that lovely layout.

Sorry I know I'm asking a million questions but would I just do an X in the square or would it end up being diagonals across the entire quilt? Also do I outline the the or is the flower enough. I did a parties tonight and found it really easy to do. My friend who quilts thought I did it free motion. I didn't do the other diagonal as its a small square and I didn't do it in the right order but that's my very first go.

That is a very pretty quilt! I understand your questions, too; they are the same ones I had when I first began quilting on my DSM. I know what I did on my first one (SITD in lines, starting in the middle, working out to the sides) but will leave the experts to give you suggestions as to the proper way.

It's the disappearing 4 patch, I'll add a link to the YouTube tutorial when I get one the computer later.
I got part of the way through the flowers and my needle snapped, had to go buy more and then my kids needed attention, you know to be fed and looked after and stuff lol.
Once I've dropped the older one at school and got the others breakfast I will continue.
I decided not to join all the flowers because you'd see it on the back side and this way it will stand out. My friend said just to leave long threads and she will come over tomorrow too help me hide them.
